Everybody knows how Spanish people go about bars, restaurants and socializing but Leon brings these concepts to the next level because they have created El Barrio Humedo in 1952 (Wet Neighborhood within the heart of the city where many different landmarks are available but also you can enjoy a great glass of wine with a free tapa. Every bar (Spanish equivalent to pub) will offer a different tapa,  El Humedo (as locals call it) is made of 73 wine bars and 81 restaurants. Then, there is El Romantico or el Cid which are connected to El Barrio Humedo.

Leon is a city where tourists can walk everywhere because everything is relatively close and it would be difficult to get lost  if El Convento de San Marcos  is taken as the point of reference.
