Casa Botines Museum

Casa Botines is a Modernist  building in Leon, Spain designed by Antoni Gaudi which hosts a museum dedicated to its designer. It opened its doors in 1892 and over the years it has become a very popular place among tourists.

Antoni Gaudi was an architect from Barcelona who at the end of the nineteenth century crossed the Iberian Peninsula to build a textile warehouse  in Leon, Spain. This warehouse is what we know today as Casa Botines. This is unique building and museum that any tourist needs visiting in Leon especially Gaudi fans.

The main purpose of the museum is to showcase the history of the building. There are multiple exhibits from the Fundación España-Duero with  amazing works from artists like Ramón Casas i Carbó, Raimundo de Madrazo, Joaquín Sorolla, José Navarro Llorens, Ignacio Pinazo, Nicanor Piñole and Joaquín Mir Trixet.

There are 3 ticket categories:

Basic: €7 Includes entrance to the museum

Silver: €10 Includes speedy entrance to the museum and a guided tour

Gold: €12 Includes speedy entrance to the museum a guided tour with actors performing a theatrical tour.
