Convento de San Marcos
Convento de San Marcos is a free of charge attraction to visit in Leon, Spain and it is made of three main parts, The square, museum and church Opening times: From October 1 o 30 June Tuesday to Saturday: 10am - 2pm and 4pm to 7pm Sundays: 10 am to 2pm From July 1 to September 1 Tuesday to Saturday: 10am - 2pm and 4pm to 8pm Sundays: 10 am to 2pm ​ From San Marcos square you can go to San Marcos Bridge and Quevedo's park or walk to Paseo de La Condesa and Papalaguinda by the river side.
The King Fernando el Catolico made a donation to build a church named San Marcos. The design was divided between 3 architects, Juan de Orozco designed the church, Martin de Villarreal designed the façade and Juan de Badajoz came up with the cloister and sacristy designs.​
